Christmas Ornaments Workshop
Create something special for the tree this Christmas!
Service Description
In this fun and beginner friendly workshop, you’ll use slabs of clay to create and decorate up to three handmade ceramic Christmas ornaments. Use cutters to create a variety of festive shapes, or design and shape your own ornaments by hand. Then personalize each one with textures, patterns, stamps, and painting. No prior experience is needed! Want to make more than three? You can create additional ornaments for $8 each, time permitting. Afterward, your instructor will take care of the glazing and firing, and your finished ornaments will be ready for pickup approximately two weeks later. If you’re interested in glazing your own ornament, you’re also welcome to book a follow-up glaze session during drop-in studio time. Please note: This is a hand-building class and does not involve the use of a pottery wheel. This class is designed for adults, with a minimum age of 16. Participants under 19 require a parent or guardian–signed liability waiver. All Inclusive Pricing All clay, tools, glazes, and both bisque and glaze firings are included. What to bring An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy. You’re also welcome to bring inspiration images.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to be fair while also respecting the time and preparation that goes into each class. Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are not eligible for a refund. You are welcome to find someone else to fill your place if you are not able to attend. If a class or workshop needs to be cancelled by the studio, a full refund or credit will be provided. Please call or email to cancel. Picking up work: Finished work will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the final class. We ask that all finished pieces be picked up within 6 weeks of the final class, as we have limited storage space. Items not collected within this timeframe may be donated, recycled, or placed on our low-cost community shelf.
