Studio time to work independently on your pottery projects
Service Description
Our Drop-in Studio offers a flexible way to continue working with clay in a relaxed, independent setting. Whether you’re throwing, hand-building, trimming, or glazing your pieces, this is a space to create at your own pace, explore ideas, and stay connected to your practice. Each session is 3 hours and gives you access to the studio space, tools, work areas, and studio glazes. Who It's For: Students currently enrolled in a class or workshop at Selah Those who have previously taken a class at Selah *If you have prior pottery experience but have not taken a class at Selah Pottery Studio, you are welcome to attend after completing a required orientation session. If you are new to pottery, please begin with one of our classes or workshops before booking Drop-in Studio. Studio Use: Drop-in sessions are designed for independent work, including glazing. While there may be someone present in the studio, this time is not instructional. You’re encouraged to work at your own pace, explore your creativity, and enjoy the process in a calm, supportive environment. Please note: Drop-In Studio is designed for potters ages 16 and up. Participants under 19 require a parent or guardian-signed consent waiver. Younger potters may attend with a participating adult.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to be fair while also respecting the time and preparation that goes into each class. Cancellations made 12 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 12 hours are not eligible for a refund. Please call or email to cancel. Picking up work: We ask that all finished pieces be picked up within 6 weeks, as we have limited storage space. Items not collected within this timeframe may be donated, recycled, or placed on our low-cost community shelf.
