Service Description
Our Drop-In Studio offers a flexible way to continue working with clay in a relaxed, independent setting. Whether you’re building on skills from a class or already have experience, this is a space to create at your own pace, explore ideas, and stay connected to your practice. Each session is 3 hours and gives you access to the studio space, tools, and work areas. Who It's For: Drop-in studio time is available to: Students currently enrolled in a class or workshop at Selah. Those who have previously taken a class at Selah. Individuals with prior pottery experience who have completed the studio orientation. If you haven’t worked in the studio before, you’re very welcome - simply book an orientation session first so we can get you familiar with the space. Studio Use: Drop-in sessions are designed for independent work. While there may be someone present in the studio, this time is not instructional. You’re encouraged to work at your own pace, explore your creativity, and enjoy the process in a calm, supportive environment.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to be fair while also respecting the time and preparation that goes into each class. Cancellations & Refunds: Classes (4-week series) - Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start of a class will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund. You are welcome to find someone else to fill your place if you are not able to attend. Please send us a quick email to let us know. If a class or workshop needs to be cancelled by the studio, a full refund or credit will be provided. Once the class has started, we’re not able to offer refunds or make-up sessions for missed classes. Workshops (one-night events) - Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are not eligible for a refund. You are welcome to find someone else to fill your place if you are not able to attend. Please send us a quick email to let us know. If a class or workshop needs to be cancelled by the studio, a full refund or credit will be provided. Open Studio - Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, a $5 admin fee will be applied. Picking up work: Finished work will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the final class. We ask that all finished pieces be picked up within 6 weeks of the final class, as we have limited storage space. Items not collected within this timeframe may be donated, recycled, or placed on our low-cost community shelf.
