One Night Make a Mug
Create your own handmade mug in one night! Workshop offered every other Friday
Service Description
In this fun and beginner-friendly one-night workshop, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a mug using a slab-building technique - no prior experience needed! You’ll learn how to construct your mug, attach a handle, and explore textures, patterns, and painting. At the end of the workshop, you’ll choose a glaze colour for your mug, and your instructor will take care of the glazing and firing. If you’re interested in glazing your own mug, you’re also welcome to book a follow-up glaze session during drop-in studio time. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the workshop. Please note: This is a hand-building class and does not involve the use of a pottery wheel. All Inclusive Pricing All clay, tools, glazes, and both bisque and glaze firings are included. What to bring An apron or clothes you don’t mind getting messy. You’re also welcome to bring inspiration images.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to be fair while also respecting the time and preparation that goes into each class. Cancellations & Refunds: Classes (4-week series) - Cancellations made 14 days or more before the start of a class will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund. You are welcome to find someone else to fill your place if you are not able to attend. Please send us a quick email to let us know. If a class or workshop needs to be cancelled by the studio, a full refund or credit will be provided. Once the class has started, we’re not able to offer refunds or make-up sessions for missed classes. Workshops (one-night events) - Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop are not eligible for a refund. You are welcome to find someone else to fill your place if you are not able to attend. Please send us a quick email to let us know. If a class or workshop needs to be cancelled by the studio, a full refund or credit will be provided. Open Studio - Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance will receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, a $5 admin fee will be applied. Picking up work: Finished work will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the final class. We ask that all finished pieces be picked up within 6 weeks of the final class, as we have limited storage space. Items not collected within this timeframe may be donated, recycled, or placed on our low-cost community shelf.
